PocketSurvey is a 'green install' which basically means it does not mess up your computer and put files all over your computer in hidden places! Everything is located with the main PocketSurvey folder, so it's straightforward to move.
So to move PocketSurvey and your survey databases to another machine follow the steps below.
Step 1 - Copy PocketSurvey from your Old Computer / Location to your New Computer / Location
Copy the whole of the PocketSurvey folder (which is usually in the 'Documents' folder on your computer) to your 'Documents' folder your other Computer /Location.
Note If you have located your survey templates and databases elsewhere, copy them as well.We DO NOT have a copy of your data; it is totally under your control and your responsibility, so make sure you backup everything before you delete any PocketSurvey folders or files.
Step 2 - Create a Desktop Shortcut
Locate the new location of the PS Data Manager.exe file and create a shortcut on your desktop, pin it to the start menu, or pin it to your taskbar
Step 3 - Your Survey Templates & Databases
You will need to find and open the survey templates that you are working on using the FILE > OPEN DATABASE menu option in the software.
