PocketSurvey uses extensive backups and archives on the Cloud, Desktop and Mobile device, so your data should be somewhere on the system.


To recover/receive any data that does not appear to be in the PS Data Manager, follow the steps below.


Step 1Get your mobile user to unarchive the required surveys on their mobile device. To do this 'long press' on survey name the select VIEW ARCHIVE, then tick the required surveys that you are missing, then tap the RESTORE button.




Step 2. To send the recovered surveys to your desktop software tap CLOUD (TRANSFER) > SEND in your mobile software. 



Step 3. After getting the mobile user to unarchive and send the required records from their mobile device, try receiving again from the desktop PS Data Manager via the CLOUD (TRANSFER) > RECEIVE FILES option on the main toolbar of PS Data Manager.


Notes: 


a. If the survey record isn't in the archives then the surveyor may have surveyed it under a different record identifier, or it could have been collected by a different surveyor.


b. If the problem is not resolved please use the SUPPORT > SEND TO SUPPORT option on your mobile device so we can investigate further.
